  2. i was at the Marshalls/Homegoods store in Issaquah, Wa. today, Jan. 3 at 15:40:07. There were 25 people in front of me when I got in line to purchase my items. There were 2 cashiers working as fast as they could. My cashier even apologized for the wait which was 40 minutes. A third employee seemed more interested in putting away returns than reducing the long line of customers. That’s not good customer service! When I finally left, the line was was still as long as when I got in line.
    I’m responding here because I couldn’t find how to take the survey.

  4. i am not sure if am doing this survey right. the Marshalls i always go to is located in the berlin circle plaza in jersey. love the store but i ask for a location on an item (perfume) and the ladies pointed to different locations to fine what i need. no one at their registers, one is on her cell phone texting. Ladie in red jacket looks to be the manager but isn’t aware. i went to look for the item and end up buying something else. i met Carmella and told her what happen she ask me if i needed to see a manager i said no. another employee came up as we were talking about the young lady on her cell phone. this other employee just interrupts our conversation. Carmella had to tell her i was a customer. i had my Marshall bag in my hand. beside that i will be coming back.

  13. I shop at the Marshalls, Staten Island, NY. It is a nice place to buy but I’ll suggest customers to always check their receipts before leaving. On a previous visit I almost got overcharge (twice) with a luggage. Fortunately, I’ve noticed immediately and the cashier change the error. On another occasion a cashier charged me a Dasani Sparkling water that I didn’t have. I know it was my fault, I didn’t notice that until I got to my car. It didn’t cost a lot but now I always add all the prices before going to the line to pay.

However, today I used the dressing room , I had outstanding service from the attendant .Her name is Ruth. She helped me with feedback on clothing items I was trying on. She was very kind and very helpful. She wasn’t just the fitting room attendant – She was my style consulted when I asked for advise .I leave a Big Shout out to her .

Nevertheless, Albina, my (personal shopper) (angel) at the Dequindre and 12-mile store helped me shop to find the perfect outfit. Albina was working on the floor, and she stopped what she was doing and asked if I needed some help. I responded, “yes”, and proceeded to tell her about an important dinner meeting the same night. She could tell I was stressed. She began helping me as if I were in Neiman Marcus. I was so impressed with her kindness and her spot-on honesty and choices to compliment my body shape. It was nice to have an honest conversation to share insecurities and concerns with another woman about my body image and personal style. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to her.   26. I made a purchase at your location in Bay Plaza today. I purchased Casual Wear (Blouse) costing 16.99. I gave the Sales rep $20.00 which yield $3.01 in change to me. She only to gave me $3.00 (her comment to me was “I owe you one cent ( $0.01) I don’t have change.”
    Please understand I am not petty, but I feel that all salespersons should have change for the customers. This is no way to do business.

  27. I came to Marshall’s today to do a return. I was pleasantly surprised that I was given a credit on my Visa as opposed to store credit, as the return was more than 30 days old. If this is your new policy I like it. However I did not want to change my browser and agree to cookies, even to win a $500 gift card. If you truly want feedback, stop trying to make money off of people taking your surveys. I also made a purchase and the same cashier waited on me, she was friendly and upbeat and reminded me in both cases to take the survey. Wish I could have.

  28. I love the Marshall’s store in my Ohio hometown, so I made sure to visit the Marshall’s store in Seal Beach, CA on 4/4/2022 while I was there on vacation. A very nice young man named Emanuelle greeted us as we entered the store and made us laugh because he was so happy and upbeat. We need more people in the world like Emanuelle! The cashier, Natalie, was pleasant and reminded me to complete the Marshall’s Survey which I tried numerous times to do today, but without success.   31. Tried to do the online survey. It never did open to let me complete this. So, I shopped at the Marshalls in Bangor. They are always super friendly and helpful. Yesterday I was there and went thru Brittany for check out. She is the most friendly, helpful, customer oriented person I have ever met! Seriously, not everyone is friendly these days. Also, I want to comment that the Asst. Manager, Jason and another front end associate, Marsha were also very helpful and that is what makes Marshall’s so successful and keeps me coming back.   36. Hi. I am not one who shops much, and I was just browsing. I was pleasantly greeted when I walked in. I found a small furniture item and was starting to carry it away when Christiana came over and offered assistance. She was bright and cheerful and brought the item up front. As I was checking out, and I came across Alia at the register. There was an issue with a garment, the manager came over immediately and took care of the situation. I had a moment to talk with Alia, and she was helpful and smiling throughout. I didn’t get the managers name, but the store looked great and she helped out with a smile also.

  39. I was at Marshall’s today in Sacramento. I waited a few minutes in line and watched a nasty customer give the cashier a hard time. The customer was angry that the cashier was checking the inside of a backpack she was purchasing. The cashier calmly explained that it was normal procedure and was just doing her job. The cashier remained polite and nice and said, “thanks for shopping at Marshall’s. Have a good day ,”. I felt bad for the cashier. She was a very nice lady and she handled it well. (Much better than I would have!). The cashier’s name is Jane. I’ve seen her working often when I go in and she’s always nice.

However, I have been very disappointed in the lack of + size clothing. There is one lone rack of +size items. I hope this is not a new policy. I feel this size is being phased out.

  43. Hello, this compliment and comment is coming from a very highly satisfied customer of the Marshalls Store in Terrell, Texas Store #1465 and the Manager Angela S. This is not any type of bogus or fake comment in any shape, form or fashion, just highly satisfied with her services and the staff as well.

    I was in the store on 11/1/22 at 3pm, I made a purchase of a Christmas holiday basket with the chocolates and cup in it. I asked Angela if she had anything in like a pumpkin spice basket. She first hand listened to me as I explained what I was looking for and she went and found some items for me without me asking, I told her what I would like to do with it and asked if we could open one and insert the pumpkin spice items in with the holiday basket. She said definitely, I went and paid for the items and she made the necessary changes to the basket by adding the items and it was perfect. I have never received that type of treatment from a management member or staff member at any store that I have shopped at. She took total time to service my needs to get this matter handled. It was highly appreciated!

    The staff as far as cashiers and floor attendants were nice, kind and pleasant. Prompt to get customers in and out. I was pleased all the way around. I will return to that store over any of the other Marshalls in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and surrounding cities. Store #1425 and Angela S. is it for me. Looking forward to going back soon!!

  44. I had a wonderful experience at the Auburn NY Marshalls, with Paula. I had a return that she took care of and could not have been nicer as she was stretching the rules a bit for me. She smiled the entire time, put my needs upbove the stores and now has one very happy customer.
